Farhana Hassan Choudhury

Farhana Choudhury is a Housing Fellow, working at the NYC Department of Housing Preservation and Development and the NYC Housing Development Corporation. Housing Fellows learn firsthand of the City’s efforts to finance affordable housing projects by working in divisions such as Capital Markets, New Construction Finance, Legal, Neighborhood Planning and more. She is a member of the NYC Bar Association's Housing & Urban Development Committee as well as Women in Housing and Finance.

Farhana is a graduate of Brooklyn Law School’s Accelerated JD Program where she served as Co-Chair of the Brooklyn Law Immigration Society and Vice President of the Muslim Law Students Association. Prior to law school, she was the District Representative for the Office of State Senator José M. Serrano. She received her BS in Public Affairs from Baruch College, of the City University of New York.
