Maimoona Zia

Maimoona serves as counsel at McKinsey & Company, where she advises on the launch and deployment of technology solutions, including related intellectual property and data privacy matters. Prior to that, Maimoona served as counsel to a global investment bank, where she advised on information technology and non-technology procurement matters, including by leading on procurement matters in the context of a strategic acquisition for the bank's securities services business. She has been a recipient of the Justice Robert L. Clifford Fellowship, where she served as a law firm fellow, and has also served as director and delegations chair for a United Nations ECOSOC-accredited organization, where she led delegations of professionals and students to international legal and policymaking conferences at the United Nations. Maimoona served on the New York City Bar Association's Diversity and Champion Award selection committee and has served as MuBANY's Membership Chair prior to serving as director. She received her JD from Seton Hall University School of Law, where she was the senior comments editor for the Seton Hall Circuit Review, and her BA from Saint Peter's University, in cursu honorum, summa cum laude.
